The sharing on the General Chapter – 2025 was conducted in two groups with the purpose of enabling the sisters to prayerfully internalize the spirit and vision of the Chapter. The theme, “Pilgrims and Prophets of Paschal Hope,” served as the central focus of the entire sharing process.
The sessions were animated by Sr. Helen Daisy, Sr. Priyanthi, and Sr. Matilda Soosai, who guided the participants through a deeply reflective and experiential journey. The entire process of GC sharing was done in two groups for two days in month of July and August.
The two days were fruitful as the sisters had the experience of reliving the grace filled moments of the chapter through a reflective journey through the six orientations.
Through guided reflections, moments of silence, and group interactions, the resource persons helped the sisters to grasp the gist and spirit of the General Chapter 2025 and the depth meaning of of the six orientations and the key decisions of the chapter. The reflective mode enabled the participants to experience the call to be pilgrims—journeying in faith—and prophets—courageously witnessing hope—rooted in the Paschal mystery.
The process fostered an atmosphere of prayer, discernment, and dialogue, allowing the Chapter insights to be integrated into personal and communal life. The session proved to be enriching and transformative, inspiring the participants to live out the Chapter call with renewed commitment, responsibility, and hope in their respective ministries and communities.
